Europe Is Falling to Islam. Will America?

“Within five years,” said former French Interior Minister Gerard Collomb, “the situation could become irreversible.”

He was referring to the rising tide of violence resulting from Muslim immigration. His comment was from an interview that took place almost two years ago. If Collomb’s calculations are correct, France only has a few years “to avoid the worst.”

Significant social change usually takes place over the course of many decades, but sometimes gradual trends enter into an acceleration phase, and massive social transformations take place in a matter of years. A few years ago, who would have imagined that the demands of the transgender “community” would become the determining factor in the decisions of school boards, corporate boards, and athletic associations? Who would have thought that the “right” of boys to enter the girls’ locker room, or the “right” of drag queens to conduct story hours in public libraries, would someday outweigh all other considerations? Yet, here we are.

Thus far, the Islamization of several major European states has been a gradual process. But there are signs that this trend is now set to accelerate. After a 9/11-style plot was recently foiled by French intelligence services, the new Interior Minister, Christophe Castaner, revealed that 60 such attacks had been foiled since 2013.

Meanwhile, 235,000 complaints for rape or attempted rape were filed in 2018; this was 62,000 more than in 2016, and an astonishing 225,000 more than in 2005. In 2018, there were also more than a thousand anti-Christian attacks (mostly, the desecration of churches), and 541 anti-Semitic acts—up 64 percent from 2017, and a shocking statistic when one considers that Jews make up less than one percent of the French population.

The evangelical Presbyterian pastor whose two-year imprisonment in Turkey sparked a geopolitical firestorm issued sobering words for Americans during a religious liberty conference last week.

Pastor Andrew Brunson lived as a missionary pastor in Turkey for decades until being detained in October 2016, following an alleged failed coup attempt against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. His arrest sparked a diplomatic spat between Turkey and the U.S. in which President Trump involved himself personally.

During an interview at the Western Conservative Summit, held annually by the Centennial Institute at Colorado Christian University, Brunson claimed that the Judeo-Christian basis for American values is eroding.

"First of all, I think it's coming to the U.S., that there will be persecution," he said. "I was isolated for a few years, and coming back to the states was almost like coming back to a different country in many ways. And I'm really astounded at the speed with which, I think, the U.S. is imploding."

Public Schools in America are secretly
indoctrinating students with Islamic
prayers and religious lessons.

The Islamization of America’s public schools continues to take place with breathless speed, but in the few districts where awakened parents push back, Islam is forced to recoil into a constitutional place that is at least equal with other religions.

Where parents are asleep, Islam will simply take over and eventually turn that school into a virtual madrassa, says one constitutional scholar. In rare cases where parents are alerted to the Islamic teachings going on in their children’s schools and take action, the school system typically backs off rather than invite expensive litigation.

A recent case in the state of Washington highlights this reality.

Unpacking, exposing and dismantling the pro-Islamic Ramadan practices within the Northside School District started with a savvy and courageous teacher.

The teacher, who remains anonymous out of fear for her job, became troubled by the policies she and other teachers were being forced to implement at the school. Two weeks ago, in mid-May, the teacher informed a small group of parents, who hired the Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund, a public-interest law firm offering pro bono work on behalf of Americans under threat of losing their First Amendment rights.

Northside School District, which serves Lake Tapps in Pierce County, received a “cease and desist” letter from the defense fund, demanding that it stop granting most-favored status to Muslim students, effectively endorsing Islam over all other religions.

According to lawyers for the defense fund, the school district was found to be following a script handed to it by the Council on American-Islamic Relations [CAIR] on how to treat Muslim students during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

CAIR is itself a highly suspect organization that was spun off from the Islamic Association of Palestine in 1994. In 2007 CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terror-funding trial ever conducted on U.S. soil [U.S. vs. Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development]. Several of the foundation’s members were sentenced to prison for raising funds from U.S. Muslims that were then funneled to Hamas, a U.S. designated foreign terrorist organization committed to the elimination of Israel as a nation.

But here’s the good news: The Northside School District has withdrawn its CAIR-backed Ramadan policy in response to the “cease and desist” letter.

'We are at a Lepanto Moment', says Roman Catholic priest at New Shrine for Persecuted Christians

“We are at a Lepanto moment in Western history,” said Father Benedict Kiely, founder of Nasarean.org... Lepanto refers to the 1571 naval battle that turned the tide for Christian forces resisting the onslaught of the Muslim invaders of the Ottoman Empire in the waters off southwestern Greece.

“We must pray with the same fervor that the Christians prayed then to save Western civilization, not just from the danger of radical Islamist extremism, but from radical, aggressive secular liberalism," added Fr Kiely.

This is a bold and, for Roman Catholicism in America, unexpected move, which we welcome for its ability to draw attention to persecuted Christians, as as well as to highlight Islam's strident antichrist theology which manifests in its doctrine of violent jihad against Christians.

With fearless Orthodox voices such as Archbishop Mark of Berlin, Fr Josiah Trenham (whose own church has been subjected to jihad threats), and of course New Martyr Fr Daniil Sysoev of Moscow (†2009), and others warning about Islam, we can hope that eventually a significant Orthodox Christian initiative will arise to provide a clear and vigorous theological and pastoral counter to the challenge of the global ascendency of a newly emboldened and muscular Islam.

First Shrine in World for Persecuted Christians Inaugurated in New York

The Catholic Church in New York has inaugurated the first Shrine in the world dedicated to prayer for persecuted Christians, with the blessing of the icon of Our Lady of Aradin, “Mother of the Persecuted Church,” at St. Michael’s parish Wednesday. 

Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the archbishop of New York, said he hopes the shrine will be a place “to pray for all the displaced Christians of the Middle East,” and for the whole world.

It’s no secret that the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center, aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations [CAIR], scour the country looking for Christians who dare to speak or write about their beliefs that Islam poses a threat to our constitutional freedoms — especially the freedom of speech. 

When these intellectual gangsters find a Christian who dares to speak the forbidden thoughts in public, they pounce like ravenous wolves. They inform Antifa, #Ungovernable, #Resist and other activists who flood social media with disparaging comments about the speaker and show up at the advertised venue to cause chaos. 

But before employing any of these disruptive tactics, they first try to get the speaker’s event canceled. 

That’s what happened this past weekend in Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin. 

Christian radio host Brannon Howse had scheduled a five-city Worldview Weekend speaking tour. Howse had enlisted speakers including former Muslim-turned Christian Pastor Shahram Hadian and Bible-prophecy teacher Jimmy DeYoung, and booked venues months in advance, only to see those reservations canceled at the last minute. 

Managers of the city-owned Omni Center in Onalaska, Wisconsin, told Howse they received 57 phone calls when they opened their office on Friday, April 6, from activists threatening to protest his event. They told Howse he needed to up his liability insurance policy, which already provided $1 million in coverage. They canceled his event four hours before the doors were due to open. 

Howse said he was on the phone with three different city officials that day, including the mayor, police chief and city administrator, all telling him they could not host his event at the Omni because his insurance was not sufficient. 

“They violated the terms of our contract, which requires them to inform me of any cancellation in writing, either hand-delivered or via U.S. Postal Service,” Howse said. 

Hotels in Milwaukee and Green Bay also canceled Howse’s events. 

“We have a legal team in Wisconsin and they are looking at suing all three venues but they are particularly distressed that the city government of Onalaska stifled our free speech,” Howse told me. “When the government shuts you up, that is real censorship. Our attorneys are telling us the punitive damages for that could be astronomical for them.” 

The last time I checked, talking about political or religious matters, however controversial or unpopular, was exactly the type of speech that our First Amendment was meant to protect. 

The speaking events sought to expose how leftists supported by billionaire George Soros and elitist private foundations are intimidating America into silence by labeling anyone who exposes them as “racists,” “Islamophobes” and “white supremacists.” 

“It re-affirmed what we’ve been talking about for over a year now in terms of where things are headed in this country and what we are facing as Christians,” Hadian told me.

Islam, Totalitarianism, and the 'catastrophic spiritual ruin ahead of us'

Rod Dreher has posted an interview with Rev. Peter Sanlon, a young CofE pastor, over at his blog at The American Conservative, which is startling for its unflinching honesty and penetrating insights concerning the frightening rate of the post-and ever more stridently anti-Christian sentiment sweeping the West, and the immanent collapse of establishment Christianity as a result.

Rev. Sanlon identifies three movements, which he states are "certain to sink the ship": "Radical sexual gender ideologies, Islam, and governments’ totalitarian instincts." How he describes the dynamics of these three forces shows he has thought deeply on contemporary trends, and is not spinning hastily composed conspiracy theories.

It may well be the case that the Orthodox Church, due to our smaller numbers, may fare better than mainline Protestant denominations, Evangelicals, and Roman Catholicism. On the other hand, because Orthodoxy is by its nature more traditional and less subject to change with the times, it may be especially singled out and targeted by the forces of the spirit of Antichrist, as described in the most significant Christian book of the 21st century so far.

I cannot do justice to Rev. Sanlon's incisive and prophetic analysis, and urgently recommend you read the entire interview. Key excerpts below. I have made a few comments, which are bracketed and not indented.

Christian Life In Exile

DREHER: Dr. Sanlon, you’ve mentioned to me that the situation for faithful small-o orthodox Christians in the West today is a lot like passengers on the Titanic refusing to believe that the ship is sinking. What do you mean?

SANLON: The Titanic was believed to be the ‘unsinkable ship’ – yet 1,503 souls perished in the icy Atlantic waters. The designers, financiers, media, crew and passengers held that the ship was unsinkable — and therefore were unable to consider or prepare adequately for her sinking. People are shaped and formed by their beliefs: if you believe something cannot occur, you will not think about it or prepare for it. This is all the more true if the thing you believe cannot happen is something that would be deeply unpleasant to you.

The human heart has an astonishing capacity for self-deception, and together with those who are similarly disposed we have almost infinite abilities to participate in mass delusion. Consider how the shudders of the Titanic liner impacting the iceberg were dismissed as insignificant. Those down in the hull of the ship could see water pouring in — but those in the restaurants and cabins above them would not believe warnings. Those bringing the warnings were uncouth, less cultured, not as intelligent — and crucially theywere bringing warnings of tragedy that were unpalatable. The mind rationalizes what the heart desires. 

What then do I mean when I say that orthodox Christians in the West are like passengers on the Titanic? 

I mean that the Church in our Western nations has already hit the iceberg. Water is flooding into the hull — the ship will sink. The grinding judders of our ship impacting the iceberg have been felt — but the majority of Christians will do what the Titanic passengers and crew did — explain the evidence away and refuse to help one another prepare to save one another’s spiritual lives. 

The iceberg that has has ripped open the Church is composed of not frozen water, but three things. Radical sexual gender ideologies, Islam and governments’ totalitarian instincts. 

Why is it that these three movements are so certain to sink the ship? The reason is that the mainline churches in the West are deeply compromised. Over many decades our leaders have fostered the hope that by political action, legal efforts or even by embracing the cultures’ ideologies in these three areas, that it can prosper or survive. This has severely weakened the Churches and leaves us unprepared for the future. 

Illinois Christians refuse to accept 'Same God' indoctrination in public school

"Several people attacked the assignment, quoting Bible and Quran verses to support their argument that Christians do not follow the same God as Muslims."

Bravo for these informed and motivated Christian parents and citizens, who are not afraid to speak truth to power, to rebuke the sinister establishment and Islamic forces arrayed against them.

The "Same God" teaching is a cornerstone of Islamic dawah (proselytization), and is a deceptive "Trojan Horse" theological belief which, on the basis of seeking peace, actually sets up Christians to commit apostasy and deny Jesus Christ, thus cutting themselves off from the grace of God.

Mark Durie warns about this false teaching in his book Revelation: Do We Worship the Same God?:

The traditional Islamic view is that if you want to know what the God of the Bible is like, then read the Koran. Not only must Muslims believe that "we worship the same God," but this message is always a central component of the presentation of Islam to Christians and Jews. 

[This message] provides the lynchpin of Muslims’ efforts to convert the "People of the Book" to the faith of Muhammad. In addition, this belief, once accepted, can lead Christians to support Islamic perspectives in ways other than conversion. For example, embracing this Islamic doctrine wins a measure of respect and even support for Islam from Christians. (Durie, Revelation, pp 50-51, 75-76.)

I refute at length, through several arguments, the Same God Heresy in my book, Facing Islam - What the Ancient Church has to say about the Religion of Muhammad.  For a serious Christian, there really is no other way to think about Islam than as a heresy and a "forerunner of Antichrist" (as St. John of Damascus wrote, and he was in a position to know, living under Muslim rule during Islam's first century). Christians today should be prepared to defend their faith, and to explain why Allah is a false god, and Islam a false religion, put forward by a false prophet, and that its primary purpose is the destruction of Christianity.

That Islam claims to worship the same God, and to venerate Jesus, should provide no comfort to Christians, but rather alarm, when Christians finally wake up, study Islam even a little bit, and learn that Islam teaches that Jesus will return, but as a Muslim, with a vendetta against Christians:

In Islam, Prophet Isa is expected to return, but to condemn the Christians’ misunderstanding of him as divine and to literally destroy Christianity and judge all non- Muslims; the Koran universally brands all unbelievers as “the vilest of creatures” (Sura 98:6). 

The Prophet Isa will be a “good Muslim,” and will direct his followers to the Mahdi, the Muslim messiah, before taking a subservient position somewhat behind the Mahdi. Isa will “fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill the swine and abolish jizya” and establish the rule of Allah throughout the world (Hadith from Sunan Abu Dawud, Book of Battles, 37:4310).  (Facing Islam, p80.)

The "breaking of the cross" by this Muslim Jesus ("Isa") contains within it a clear reference to the Koran's denial that Jesus was crucified:

In fact, they never killed him, they never crucified him — they were made to think that they did. All factions who are disputing in this matter are full of doubt concerning this issue. They possess no knowledge; they only conjecture. For certain, they never killed him. (Sura 4:157)

Liberal and milquetoast Christian academics, who routinely tell us "Muslims and Christians worship the same God," will likely dismiss these sincere and honest Christian citizens as "rubes" and "rednecks," lacking the learning to appreciate the "nuances" of Islam. We, however commend their bravery and zeal in standing against a blatant lie, falsehood and heresy being taught as "fact" in public schools, a brazen attempt to indoctrinate students into Islamic beliefs.

Illinois: Citizens protest school homework claiming Christians, Muslims and Jews all believe in same God

Dozens of people spoke out Monday against a homework assignment made at an Elgin-area U46 school in which it was asserted Christian, Muslim and Jewish faiths all believe in the same God.

One month after the assignment was criticized by U46 school board member Jeanette Ward, people who identified themselves as part of the Christian community attended the school board meeting Monday to add their opposition.

Several people attacked the assignment, quoting Bible and Quran verses to support their argument that Christians do not follow the same God as Muslims. Some of those who spoke live outside the U46 boundaries, including one person who came from Florida.

“To say that Allah of the Quran and the God of the Bible are the same is simply absurd,” said Art Ellingsen, a church pastor from Arlington Heights.

Suspect Mahad Abdiaziz Abdirahaman is in custody after two victims stabbed at the Mall of America yesterday. He was allegedly caught redhanded in the middle of a robbery in the dressing room at Macy's.

There are still a lot of questions: Who is Abdirahaman? What motivated the theft? Is he a practicing Muslim? Where is he from? 

It's reported that the suspect and victims didn't know each other -- but were the victims Muslim? After all, if Abdirahaman is a faithful Muslim surely he knows that Islam allows for theft against non-Muslims: Allah promiseth you much booty that ye will capture, and hath given you this in advance, and hath withheld men's hands from you, that it may be a token for the believers, and that He may guide you on a right path (Quran 48:18-20). 

In other words, Quran 48:18-20 allows for a Robbery of Peace.

What is "White" Sharia? (Yes, this is a Thing)

Life was cheap to those who created Sharia. Sadly, Americans on the hard right/Alt-Right are openly talking about what their own version of Sharia would look like in the context of non-Islamic European-Americans.

White Sharia is a meme that likely began in late 2016. As far as I can tell, the Alt-Right podcast The War Room was one of the first to explore the idea and for almost two hours the hosts flesh out a graphic vision of white rape gangs and more.

White Sharia is conceptualized as a corrective to the decadence of Western feminism that has led many of our sisters and wives to debauch themselves in prodigal living resulting in less white babies and weaker marriages. This makes demographic replacement by non-Westerners/non-whites inevitable.

It should be mentioned that the Alt-Right and meme culture is based on irony and jokes meant to shock and steer conversation. Much like third-wave feminism, it's full of half-truths.

White Sharia is open to such heinous activities as "corrective rape" and polygamy to forcefully impregnate obstinate Western women of "good genes" who refuse to carry and birth children. By the calculation of White Sharia advocates, this strategy would jack-up desirable female genetic contribution during peak childbearing years that are usually lost to empowered promiscuity and careerism. Earlier childbirth means fewer sexual partners which equals stronger marriages. 

Andrew Anglin, infamous proprietor Alt-Right site The Daily Stormer once mentioned that Western women will eventually need to choose between Islamic Sharia and White Sharia. 

I've found that Leftists, "normies", and most conservative-types don't really understand the Alt-Right or meme-culture. They either don't get the high levels of irony or they pretend they don't. Much of the Alt-Right's belief-cycle plays out as follows (roughly):

1. Become conversant in spiritually/morally dangerous ideas (National Socialism, "helicopter rides" etc) in order to trigger your enemies and signal to fellow travelers.
2. Deploy ironic memes based on these ideas.
3. Begin to actually sympathize with the above ideas and/or start to see other human beings as vermin/sub-human/contemptible.

Ultimately, and these are just the facts, the Alt-Right and White Sharia are the result of the leftwing's war on traditional morality plus identity politics. It's also a result of the capitulation of establishment, economically-minded Republicans in government. The war, the identity politics, and the capitulation are all evil.

This is all totally antithetical to the Church's vision of complementary vocations for husbands and wives. Additionally, race/ethnicity are irrelevant in Christ. Christ transcends that for us. We don't have to obsess over it anymore.

Not unlike leftists today, there is a preoccupation in the Alt-Right with earthly justice with no concept of ultimate victory in the eschaton where God will "wipe away every tear" (Rev 21.4). Orthodox Christians have nothing to learn from Islam or Mohammed and ought not take cues from them. We have the fullness of the Truth and life with the witness of the saints. Darkness does not comprehend the light (Jn 1.5).

That said, it's unsurprising in this fallen world that some men would put their foot down and take on the role of oppressor in jest or in reality. If these men can do-no-right in the eyes of our culture's wicked pseudo-reality -- what do they have to lose? It's not right, but it's one of the choices the culture gave them so some men are going to choose it. Surprise, surprise.

Silicon Valley and Islam: Jewels in the Mouth of Satan

Last week, Dr Bill Warner at the Center for the Study of Political Islam released a short video discussing the "economic warfare" being waged on him by Silicon Valley and the Southern Poverty Law Center. These technocratic white knights are pushing non-capitulators out of the conversation to make way for the moral degeneracy of Islam.

Companies like PayPal, YouTube, Facebook, and Google are using cringy SPLC hate lists as their guide in targeting dissenters. Whether they realize it or not they work to protect evil. Like many American politicians they make lies a way of life. 

Silicon Valley and the Bay Area have a long history of seducing the rest of America with the bit of hedonism. Perhaps you recently read about California State Senator Scott Wiener out of San Francisco. Wiener co-authored legislation that now makes it a mere misdemeanor to knowingly infect someone with HIV. It's now California law. Don't be surprised when your state follows. And don't be surprised when you're called a "hater" for resisting.

Demonic Enslavement

With the above in mind, I couldn't help but think how the gross, demonic hedonism that runs through Islam is so close to the unrepentant sexual degeneracy storming our culture. It all comes from the same dark place. It's all lies from the father of lies. He wants to enslave us. He mocks the life in Christ.

In order to believe that Islam is a peaceful victim worth fighting for you'd have to believe that war is peaceful -- along with subjugation and rape.

In order to believe that unrepentant sexual deviance is peaceful and worth fighting for you'd have to believe that slavery to impulse is peaceful -- along with spiritual death and mockery of God.

We Don't Have to Pretend

All people of conscience should understand that empires come and go. Never forget that our country was bitten by Enlightenment thinking at her founding. There's a lot to love about America but for the sake of your soul -- it's okay to be suspicious of the mechanisms that made a place for evil. Take care to guard your heart. Resist the impulse to get-along. Enlightenment ideas, by design, push us toward secularism and empiricism at the expense of morality and the true God. You are free to question spaces made for the evil one.

We don't have to pretend that Mohammed is a source of cultural strength because our leaders say so (or because of the First Amendment). We don't have to co-sign the sexual revolution to be open and loving. We don't have to affirm the violent homicide of pre-borns in their mommies' bellies in order to stand with women or the poor. 

We must render unto Caesar and be mindful. Tread carefully. As time passes our marginalization will likely intensify. The culture wants us to affirm its progress or face the consequences. May our true citizenship be the New Jerusalem. America may send us there sooner than we think.

Mandalay Bay Owners Solicited Matching Donations to CAIR, SPLC

Jim Murren, CEO of MGM Resorts International, asked employees to donate to Council on American Islamic Relations and The Southern Poverty Law Center, other groups after Charlottesville and Barcelona. 

Stephen Paddock, who may have converted to Islam months ago, reportedly murdered 58 concert goers from the 32nd floor of the MGM Resorts owned Mandalay Bay hotel casino last week. 

Judi McLeod at Canada Free Press reports that the CEO sent a letter to employees where he “denounced hatred and bigotry” and promised to match employee donations to the Muslim Brotherhood-Hamas front group, CAIR, and the soft-on-Sharia SPLC. This letter was hot on the heels of the white nationalist/Confederate monument rally in Charlottesville.

Here's the letter in full from McLeod's report:

They still don't get it. Sending resources to CAIR and the SPLC is no answer. Let’s break down a few points in the letter (emphasis mine):

The protection of human dignity, demonstrated in the form of tolerance and respect for all people, is the core of our identity…we must stand strongly in defiance of violence, bigotry, and anything that threatens our precious right to equality.

Human dignity

A kafir can be terrorized (Koran 8:12) and deceived (86:15). That said, shall we review some contemporary Muslim views of sexuality?

Defiance of violence

The Sira documents the beheading of 800 Jewish captives while Mohammed watched with his child-bride, Aisha (I690).

Defiance of bigotry

According to Dr Bill Warner at the Center for the Study of Political Islam, the amount of anti-Jewish text in the Koran, Sira, and Hadith surpasses that of Mein Kampf by 2.3%.

Tolerance & Equality

Under Sharia Law, Christians are second-class citizens in the fullest sense. Jihad Watch has a helpful article that unpacks the subjugation of non-Muslims.

The insanity of the Las Vegas murders are another log on the fire of our civilization. I've yet to read reports of Murren sending a similar letter to employees after the events from October 1st. May it remain that way. The victims and their families ought not be insulted with thoughtless piety (at best) or tolerance of Sharia (at worst). Our culture's habit of connecting CAIR and the SPLC with the virtues of tolerance is a kick in the teeth to peaceful people.

Edit: Paddock reportedly killed 58 people, not 59. The body count is 59 counting himself. This change has been made in the article.
