Poll of U.S. Muslims Reveals Ominous Levels Of Support For Shariah, Jihad

"Nearly one-fifth of Muslim respondents said that the use of violence in the United States is justified in order to make shariah the law of the land in this country... Roughly 300,000 Muslims living in the United States believe that shariah is 'Allah’s law that Muslims must follow and impose worldwide by Jihad'.”

Center for Security Policy, June 23, 2015

According to a new nationwide online survey (Below) of 600 Muslims living in the United States, significant minorities embrace supremacist notions that could pose a threat to America’s security and its constitutional form of government.

The numbers of potential jihadists among the majority of Muslims who appear not to be sympathetic to such notions raise a number of public policy choices that warrant careful consideration and urgent debate, including: the necessity for enhanced surveillance of Muslim communities; refugee resettlement, asylum and other immigration programs that are swelling their numbers and density; and the viability of so-called “countering violent extremism” initiatives that are supposed to stymie radicalization within those communities.

Overall, the survey, which was conducted by The Polling Company for the Center for Security Policy (CSP), suggests that a substantial number of Muslims living in the United States see the country very differently than does the population overall.  The sentiments of the latter were sampled in late May in another CSP-commissioned Polling Company nationwide survey.

According to the just-released survey of Muslims, a majority (51%) agreed that “Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to shariah.”  When that question was put to the broader U.S. population, the overwhelming majority held that shariah should not displace the U.S. Constitution (86% to 2%).

More than half (51%) of U.S. Muslims polled also believe either that they should have the choice of American or shariah courts, or that they should have their own tribunals to apply shariah. Only 39% of those polled said that Muslims in the U.S. should be subject to American courts.

'Grounds for Impeachment': Forbes Op-Ed makes the case regarding Obama

Regular readers of my blog know that I strongly disagree with and criticize President Obama on an array of issues, concentrating especially on his support of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt (for which he has been charged with 'Crimes Against Humanity' at the International Criminal Court), Boko Haram in Nigeria, and Al Qaeda/Al-Nusra in Syria, his support of the genocidal persecution of Christians by Muslim extremist groups, and in general for his efforts to wipe away 1700 years of Christian civilization through actions designed to reverse St. Constantine's Edict of Milan.

Though I have weighed in on domestic and political issues before, I generally try to restrain myself, as that is not part of the specific purpose of this blog. However, the below editorial which recently ran in Forbes deserves to be widely shared and acted upon.

Obama's Disdain For The Constitution Means We Risk Losing Our Republic
Forbes Op/Ed by M. Northup Buechner — 11/19/2013

Since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law, he has changed it five times. Most notably, he suspended the employer mandate last summer. This is widely known, but almost no one seems to have grasped its significance.

The Constitution authorizes the President to propose and veto legislation. It does not authorize him to change existing laws. The changes Mr. Obama ordered in Obamacare, therefore, are unconstitutional. This means that he does not accept some of the limitations that the Constitution places on his actions. We cannot know at this point what limitations, if any, he does accept.

By changing the law based solely on his wish, Mr. Obama acted on the principle that the President can rewrite laws and—since this is a principle—not just this law, but any law. After the crash of Obamacare, many Congressmen have implored the President to change the individual mandate the same way he had changed the employer mandate, that is, to violate the Constitution again.

The main responsibility the Constitution assigns to the President is to faithfully execute the Laws. If the President rejects this job, if instead he decides he can change or ignore laws he does not like, then what?

The time will come when Congress passes a law and the President ignores it. Or he may choose to enforce some parts and ignore others (as Mr. Obama is doing now). Or he may not wait for Congress and issue a decree (something Mr. Obama has done and has threatened to do again).

Mr. Obama has not been shy about pointing out his path. He has repeatedly made clear that he intends to act on his own authority. “I have the power and I will use it in defense of the middle class,” he has said. “We’re going to do everything we can, wherever we can, with or without Congress.” There are a number of names for the system Mr. Obama envisions, but representative government is not one of them.

Senior Homeland Security Advisor: America is an “Islamic Country”

This begs for the following political cartoon which mocked Obama's absurd claim that the United States is "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world:"

In any case, consider this a FACING ISLAM ACTION ALERT. Time to contact your congressman and let them know the inmates are running the asylum. Per the final paragraph of this story:

Remarkably, not a single mainstream media outlet has covered this story. Few members of Congress have raised the matter. It’s up to American citizens to educate them. We encourage readers to send this article and our 15 disturbing facts about Elibiary to their congressmen and to share it on Facebook and Twitter.

Senior Homeland Security Advisor: America is an “Islamic Country”
by Ryan Mauro, The Clarion Project — 10/31/2013

Mohamed Elibiary, a senior Dept. of Homeland Security advisor
tweeted that "America is an Islamic country."

A senior advisor to the Department of Homeland Security, Mohamed Elibiary, says that America is “an Islamic country” and continues to argue that the Muslim Brotherhood is comparable to Christian evangelicals.

Elibiary is a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council and was promoted in September. He also served on the Department of Homeland Security’s Countering Violent Extremism Working Group and the Faith-based Security and Communications Advisory Committee.

Does U.S. Army consider Christians a terror threat?

“On the very base that was the site of mass murder carried out by a radicalized Muslim soldier, it is astonishing that it is evangelical groups that are being identified as a ‘threat.’” — Tony Perkins, Family Research Council president

When I saw this story, I recalled posting a very similar one several months back (April 2013), which you can read here. That incident was in Pennsylvania, this latest in Texas — actually at Ft Hood, where one would expect people would know the real threat does not come from Christians of any kind. Also referenced in this article is a similar incident on a base in Mississippi.

See also this related story: Obama Purging Military Commanders, which reports that, "Retired generals and current senior commanders say the administration is not only purging the military of commanders they don’t agree with, but is striking fear in the hearts of those still serving."

And those still serving are being indoctrinated to believe Christians are a major domestic enemy threat.

These are not isolated incidents. These are symptoms of a spiritual battle being waged against Christians across all aspects of the public space: in government, in the courts, in the Army, in the media, in the culture at large, and of course via the rise of Islam.

To quote Hieromonk Seraphim Rose:
Christian compromise in thought and word and negligence in deed have opened the way to the triumph of the forces of the absurd, of Satan, of Antichrist. The present age of absurdity is the just reward of Christians who have failed to be Christians.

It is futile, in fact it is precisely absurd, to speak of reforming society, of changing the path of history, of emerging into an age beyond absurdity, if we have not Christ in our hearts; and if we do have Christ in our hearts, nothing else matters.

Now one cannot be a half-hearted Christian, but only entirely or not at all.

Does Army consider Christians, Tea Party, a terror threat?
by Todd Starnes, Fox News — 10/23/2013

Soldiers attending a pre-deployment briefing at Fort Hood say they were told that evangelical Christians and members of the Tea Party were a threat to the nation and that any soldier donating to those groups would be subjected to punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

A soldier who attended the Oct. 17th briefing told me the counter-intelligence agent in charge of the meeting spent nearly a half hour discussing how evangelical Christians and groups like the American Family Association were “tearing the country apart.”

Michael Berry, an attorney with the Liberty Institute, is advising the soldier and has launched an investigation into the incident.

“The American public should be outraged that the U.S. Army is teaching our troops that evangelical Christians and Tea Party members are enemies of America, and that they can be punished for supporting or participating in those groups,” said Berry, a former Marine Corps JAG officer.

Obama Addresses American Islamist Convention

An FBI document says ISNA is part of an organization whose work in America is a 'grand jihad' meant to destroy the West.

by Ryan Mauro, The Clarion Project — 9/2/2013

U.S. President Obama addresses the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) convention.
ISNA was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terror-financing trial in U.S. history.
President Obama addressed the 50th annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America via videotape, praising the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity for its partnership with his administration. A Clarion Project report showed that the convention's roster of speakers includes many extremists.

“Over the last half-century, you’ve upheld the proud legacy of American-Muslims’ contributions to our national fabric and this gathering is a testament to that tradition,” Obama says to ISNA.

The gathering is anything but a testament to American tradition. The speaker with the most sessions (eight), Zaid Shakir, preached earlier this year that the U.S. Constitution is flawed because it grants equality to Muslims and non-Muslims.

Siraj Wahhaj, who is teaching five sessions, has a history of anti-American preaching and now advises Muslims to avoid discussion of Sharia because “we are not there yet.”

ISNA’s 50-year history is nothing to be exalted. In 1991, a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood memo placed ISNA at the top of a secret list of “our organizations and the organizations of our friends.” The document said the organization’s “work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within…”

In 2007, federal prosecutors named ISNA an unindicted co-conspirator in the terrorism-financing trial of the Holy Land Foundation, a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity housed within ISNA. The U.S. government identified ISNA as a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity. The designation was upheld in 2009 due to “ample” evidence linking ISNA to Hamas.

Taking Action: State Initiatives to Combat Islamism in the U.S.

The below article was originally published by The Clarion Project on June 27, 2013. Since that time, the North Carolina state senate has passed anti-foreign law legislation, adding another state-level victory. The point of such initiatives is for states to reassert their role in upholding the U.S. Constitution against the supremacist aspects of Islamic sharia law.

Informed, fervent and practicing Christians can aid such efforts through educating our families, our fellow parishioners, and our neighbors as to the incompatibility of Islam with Christianity, American culture, and the U.S. Constitution and jurisprudence, as I discuss in my book. Those with legal skills or who are suited for the active political promotion of such initiatives are encouraged to get involved.

Taking Action: State Initiatives to Combat Islamism in the U.S.
The failure to confront the Islamist ideology on the federal level does not mean that nothing can be done. States laws are now taking on this task.

NEWS ANALYSIS by Christopher Holton and Ryan Mauro
The Clarion Project - June 27, 2013

The failure to recognize, let alone confront, the Islamist ideology on the federal level does not mean that nothing can be done. An increasing number of states are passing or considering legislation designed to take on this task.

Below are five initiatives you can promote in your state:

1. American Laws for American Courts

In 2011, the Center for Security Policy released a studied titled Shariah Law and American State Courts: An Assessment of State Appellate Court Cases. The study found 50 appellate court cases in 23 states where Shariah-based legislation from 16 foreign countries contradicted American law.
