Ramadan is the 'Month of Jihad' for Muslims, and as this news report below shows, Ramadan has become the 'Month of Apostasy' for more and more Christians.
"The cathedral announced it would “host its second Grand Iftar which, this year, will also mark the anniversary of the London Bridge attacks and will bring all communities together to celebrate Ramadan."
Defiling the cathedral and committing apostasy. The 'Church' of England is finished. |
By comparison, the Orthodox Church absolutely forbids the reading of texts from any other faith during any of the divine services. Only the Old and New Testaments, and select texts from the Orthodox service books and perhaps lives or writings of saints or of recognized Orthodox writers may be read in an Orthodox Church during a service.
No non-Orthodox speaker should be allowed to give an address in a church. A Christian from another confession could be invited to speak in a parish hall, but not in the church itself. No non-Christian should be allowed to give an address in an Orthodox setting of any kind.
No prayers other than Christian prayers may be offered in an Orthodox church, and those officiated only by a consecrated Orthodox clergyman (or, if no clergy are available, by Orthodox laymen in a "Readers Service").
If an Islamic service of any kind, or a reading from the Koran, or Muslim prayers were somehow forcibly (or ignorantly, or in a modern-day spirit of multi-culti vapidity) conducted in an Orthodox church, that church would be considered defiled, a great blasphemy committed, an "abomination causing desolation" having occurred, and that church would need to be exorcised, cleansed, and completely re-consecrated before any Christian services could be held again in it. Its pastor or bishop should be severely disciplined and possibly defrocked if not excommunicated.
Why these strong words?
Because Islam is of the spirit of Antichrist, a forerunner of Antichrist, per these verses from the Koran:
The similitude of Isa before God is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: “Be”: And he was. (Sura 3:59)
Say not “Trinity”: desist: It will be better for you: For God is One God: Glory be to Him: (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. . . . (Sura 4:173)
In blasphemy indeed are those that say that God is Christ the Son of Mary. (Sura 5:19)
They do blaspheme who say: “God is Christ the son of Mary . . .” They do blaspheme who say: God is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One God. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them (Sura 5:75,78)
Christ the son of Mary was no more than an Apostle; many were the apostles that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how God doth make His Signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth! (Sura 5:78)
The Jews call 'Uzair a son of God, and the Christians call Christ the Son of God. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the Unbelievers of old used to say. God's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (Sura 9:30)
In fact, they never killed him, they never crucified him — they were made to think that they did. All factions who are disputing in this matter are full of doubt concerning this issue. They possess no knowledge; they only conjecture. For certain, they never killed him. (Sura 4:157)
These Koran verses are very clear in their rejection of Jesus Christ, and should serve as a scalding rebuke and warning to Christians tempted to subscribe to the "Same God" Heresy.
Christians who ignore these verses and exalt Islam are themselves denying Jesus Christ and committing outright apostasy. In justifying their apostasy by claiming to "bring all communities together to celebrate Ramadan" they show that they prefer the approval of this world to the Lord Jesus Christ. They show that they are ashamed of Jesus Christ and His words, and as a result are in danger of Him being ashamed of them at His Second and Glorious Coming.
Ramadan is the Islamic month of fasting, during which Muslims commemorate the first 'revelation' of the Koran to Muhammad, so Ramadan and the Iftar dinners which conclude it are a specific affirmation of the Koran. Christians who celebrate Ramadan with Muslims are celebrating a religion which openly, vehemently and violently denies Jesus Christ.
They are implicitly saying "Amen" to Islam, and betraying Jesus, their fake kindness to Muslims being their 'Judas Kiss' to Christ.
There are many ways to reach out to Muslims, especially for Christians, who should share the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ, with our Muslim neighbors, hoping to save them from their false god, false prophet, and false religion. But for a Christian to celebrate the Islamic faith with Muslims is not only to deny Christ and commit apostasy, it is to also affirm the Muslim in falsehood and allow him to continue without hearing the Gospel.
Regarding further meaning of Ramadan, Muslims are enjoined during Ramadan to strive to be pleasing to Allah, and that includes imitating Muhammad, and that includes... waging jihad.
Bill DiPuccio, in a highly informative article on Ramadan, writes:
"Following Muhammad’s example, terrorists are emboldened to engage in acts of violence against those who reject Islam and in any way inhibit the spread of Islam. While Muslims are purifying themselves from the stain of sin during Ramadan, what better time is there to purge the faith and cleanse the land from all defilement by destroying the infidel?"
This year, the death toll from Muslim attacks during Ramadan is down from recent years, but the trend remains the same. Ramadan is the 'Month of Jihad' for Muslims, and as this disgraceful and shameful news report indicates, Ramadan has become the 'Month of Apostasy' for more and more Western Christians.
