Marked for Destruction: The Plight of Syria's Christians with Syrian Church Leaders    Sunday, January 26th 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. at St John the Beloved Catholic Church 6420 Linway Terrace, McLean, VA 22101 Map RSVP Here On Sunday, January 26th, the first delegation of Syrian Church leaders to visit the United States since the start of the civil war will give a talk at St. John the Beloved about the current crisis facing Christians in Syria. The delegation is visiting the U.S. between January 25–29th to raise awareness of the threats against Christians in Syria and the growing plight that they face. The visit will provide opportunities for these Church leaders to discuss various options and steps that can be taken by the global community to protect Christians and religious minorities in Syria. The delegation is being hosted by the Westminster Institute and Barnabas Aid. Delegation members include: Rev. Adib Awad, General Secretary of the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon. H.E. Bishop Elias Toumeh, The Orthodox Bishop of Pyrgou-Syria. Rev. Dr Riad Jarjour, Presbyterian clergyman from Homs, Syria, formerly General Secretary of the Middle East Council of Churches (1994-2003). H.E.
