Extremist Shoppers wreak violence on Black Friday as retailers usher in start of holiday shopping season

'Moderate' Consumers say nothing, do not protest or denounce the violent acts committed by their co-shoppers.

Why, the parallels to Muslims seem to be uncanny.

To wit, would we say there are "extremist" shoppers and "moderate" shoppers?  Should we not rather consider that all persons so committed to worldly consumerism that they launch themselves into the Black Friday mayhem in order to get the best deals, are "extremist"?

Then there are the "Cyber-Shoppers" who troll for deals online, and lastly the rest of us who typically purchase what we need, with a moderate number of discretionary purchases along the way.

But ultimately, consumers all subscribe at some level to the same philosophy, the same worldview, that we need "things," we need entertainment, we need ever more "stuff" in order to live fulfilling lives and be happy.

Regarding Muslims, we are repeatedly told that the bloodshed, violence, attacks against Christians and other non-Muslims, attempts to blow up planes and bomb public places, have nothing to do with Islam, even though the perpetrators of these violent crimes explicitly justify and describe their motivations using the Koran and Islam's other sacred texts. These "extremists" get the headlines, but the so-called "moderate" Muslims can barely rouse a couple of dozen "peaceful" Muslims to protest against their co-religionists.

At the end of the day, Islam's "worldview" is that Islam is superior to all religions, and is destined to dominate the globe. "Allahu Akbar" is the Muslim battle cry for a reason, as it blares out the philosophy that "Allah is greater." Muslims who do not protest against the supremacism inherent in Islam are tacitly approving of it, and we can only assume that should their violent, extremist co-religionists win the day, that they would happily line up to reap the rewards. (And with 80% of mosques in the U.S. promoting jihad, and funded by either the Saudi Wahhabi sect, the Turkish government, or other hostile alien entities, the average Muslim is supporting Islamic supremacism simply by their support of their local mosque.)

Just like all shoppers on Black Friday are after the same thing, we can only assume that all Muslims ultimately share the same goal, which is what Islam has consistently taught, acted upon, and demanded of its adherents: Waging jihad until the whole world submits to Islam.

...The early start to this year's shopping mayhem did not prevent several reported violent confrontations at stores around the nation that opened up for Black Friday, which is typically considered the biggest shopping day of the year.

A New Jersey man was arrested Thursday in a Walmart and charged with disorderly conduct and aggravated assault on a police officer after allegedly arguing with a store employee over a TV, NBCNewYork.com reported.

In the Chicago suburb of Romeoville, a driver believed to be involved in a shoplifting scheme was shot by authorities after dragging a police officer who was trying to stop him in the parking lot of a Kohl's department store late Thursday, the Chicago Tribune reported.

The suspected shoplifter and two additional suspects were arrested, police told the newspaper. Both the driver and the officer sustained injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening, according to the report.

At a Wal-Mart in the Southern California city of Rialto, a police officer was injured while trying to break up a fight after a store manager decided to open the doors early, which police said led to the melee, according to the San Bernardino County Sun.

Police said there were three fights at the store, two of which were inside over merchandise and the third outside that left the officer injured. All of the people involved in the fights were taken into custody, the newspaper reported.

In Las Vegas, a customer who had purchased a big-screen television at Target was shot in the leg while walking to a nearby apartment complex, KLAS-TV reported. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
